God's Abundant Blessings

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed - 2 Corinthians 9:8.

God came to this world to give us an abundant life. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10. He meets all our needs by His riches that are in abundance. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
God always knows what to give us. More than what we ask or imagine, He blesses us exceedingly and abundantly. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20. God’s thoughts and ways are always higher than our thoughts and ways. He gives us the best things.
God has blessed us abundantly with every spiritual blessing. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ - Ephesians 1:3. Let us receive God’s abundant blessings and become a channel of blessing for many. You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance - Psalm 65:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of abundance. We thank You blessing us abundantly. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Great Are You Lord

For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods - Psalm 95:3.

Our God is greater than all Gods. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit - Psalm 147:5. He is great and greatly to be praised. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; And His greatness is unsearchable. He does wondrous things in our life. For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God - Psalm 86:10.
The works of the Lord are great in our life. Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them. Let us remember the wonderful works of the Lord. Our Lord is gracious and compassionate. Glorious and majestic are His deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. He has caused His wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate - Psalm 111:2-4.
How great is God in our life? He leads us, guides us, protects us, heals us, delivers us, restores us and blesses us. He had done great things in our life exceedingly and abundantly more than we asked or imagined. For He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name - Luke 1:49. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad - Psalm 126:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are great. We thank You for doing great things in our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Walk In Humility

“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8).

Walking in humility is the key to receive the grace of God. God gives grace to the humble - James 4:6. God wants us to value others above ourselves in humility. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves - Philippians 2:3. A man who fears God must have humility. The fear of the LORD is the instruction for wisdom, and before honor comes humility - Proverbs 15:33.
God guides the humble in what is right and teaches His way to them. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way - Psalm 25:9. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering - Colossians 3:12. When we walk humbly before God, He will exalt us. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you - James 4:10.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:8. As Jesus humbled himself, God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name which is above every name. Walking in humility make us to become more like Jesus.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to walk in humility. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Not By Might Nor By Power

Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, Says the Lord of hosts - Zechariah 4:6.

When Gideon was threshing wheat in a wine press, the Lord appeared to him and called him the mighty warrior. The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?” - Judges 6:14. Gideon answered that he is the weakest in Manasseh and least in his family. Pardon me, my lord, Gideon replied, “but how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family - Judges 6:15.
Gideon could not understand how can God use him. God helped him to overcome the weakness of hopelessness. The spirit of the Lord came upon Gideon. But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him - Judges 6:33. With just three hundred men, Gideon defeated Midianites. When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords - Judges 7:22.
The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses - II Cor. 10:4. We may think that we are not strong enough or not creative enough. But we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. The spirit of the Lord helps us in our weaknesses. Let us not trust the power of our wisdom, wealth, strength and experiences. Instead let us rely on the Spirit of the Lord with whom all things are possible.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Grant us strength to rely completely on You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Just Say The Word

Just say the word, and my servant will be healed - Mathew 8:8.

A Centurion came to Jesus asking Him to heal his servant who was close to death.  He cared his servant and had compassion with him. He came to Jesus asking to help his servant. As a child of God, we also have a great privilege to intercede for others. When Jesus said that He will come and heal him, the Centurion told Jesus just to say the word and his servant will be healed. What an incredible faith!!
He was also a great man of humility. He told Jesus that he does not deserve to have Him in his house.  For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” (Matthew 8:8-9). Faith brings changes to our situations. Like Centurion, let us have a great faith in the power of God.
We see in the Bible that many people are amazed at Jesus because of the miracles performed by him. But here Jesus was amazed by seeing the faith of Centurion. When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith - Mathew 8:10. When Jesus told that let it be done according to his belief, the servant was healed immediately. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast - Psalm 33:9.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to be compassionate with each other. Fill us with humility and great faith. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

God Who Directs Us

A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps – Proverbs 16:9.

The Lord directs our steps when we trust Him and completely depend on Him. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5,6.  God’s ways and thoughts are always higher than ours. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord - Psalm 37:23.
God will lead us in the way we should go.  I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.” (Isaiah 48:17). I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” (Psalm 32:8). If we are willing to listen to God and follow his ways, He will provide divine protection in our life. “But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.” (Proverbs 1:33).
God will guide us and direct us continually till the end of our life. For this is God, our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even to death - Psalm 48:14.  The Lord will guide you continually - Isaiah 58:11. God’s thoughts towards us are always of peace that gives a future and hope. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope - Jeremiah 29:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Direct the steps of our life in the way You have planned for us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is there

All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.” Ezekiel 48:35.

Our God’s name is Jehovah Shammah. The One who is there. Ezekiel prophesied about Jerusalem’s restoration and proclaimed that this city will be called as Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is there. Our God is always attentive to all our needs. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1.
God is with us, in us, around us and over us. He is present at all places and at all times. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast - Psalm 139:7-10.
Our God, Jehovah Shammah is there in all our circumstances and He watches over us wherever we go. God’s presence is always with us and we are not alone. I will never leave you nor forsake you - Hebrews 13:5. I am with you always, even to the end of the age – Mathew 28:20. My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest - Exodus 33:14. Surely God’s goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to remember that You are always there for us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
