Showers of Blessings

              I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing. Ezekiel 34:26

                 Our God is the source of all the blessings. We are blessed by God in so many ways. Ezekiel 34:25 says that “And I will make with them a covenant of peace." The Lord's blessing will follow us when we have the peace covenant with God.
                  The Lord promised to bless Abraham as father of nations and He fulfilled it in right season. Abraham was blessed by God in all things.
                   Before Joseph was exalted, he had to go through many trials and tribulations. But he remained faithful to God and waited patiently. One day, Joseph was made in charge of whole land of Egypt by Pharaoh. God blessed Joseph at right time with showers of blessing.
                     The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the first, God restored Job with double blessings at the end. Job was blessed when he humbled himself and prayed for his friends.
                    Let us humble ourselves before God so that He can shower His blessings upon us. 1 Peter 5:6 says that, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”  No one can block the blessings that God has for us. No matter what you are experiencing today, expect showers of blessings from God by faith. Rejoice in hope and keep focus on God.  He will pour out showers of blessings upon us in right season.

There shall be showers of blessing:
This is the promise of love;
There shall be seasons refreshing,
Sent from the Savior above.
There shall be showers of blessing,
Precious reviving again;
Over the hills and the valleys,
Sound of abundance of rain.
Chorus
Showers of blessing
Showers of blessing we need
Mercy drops round us are falling
But for the showers we plead.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank you for all the blessings you have showered upon us. Help us to wait patiently during our tough situations as you are there to shower your blessings upon us at right season. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
