For all the
promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through
us. 2 Corinthians 1:20.
The
Bible is full of God’s promises. All the promises of God in Him are Yes and
Amen. “Amen” is a Hebrew word which means “truly” or “so be it”. Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever - Hebrews 13:8.
He is the unchangeable God who keeps promises. God is not a man,
that He should lie – Numbers 23:19. God does not lie like man. All His
promises are sure and He is faithful to His word.
Abraham had great faith that God who had promised him was also able to perform.
He believed God’s promises that he would become father of all the nations. God fulfilled all the promises He made to Abraham. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was
strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and
being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to
perform – Romans 4:20, 21.
Isaiah 55:11 says
that “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to
Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the
thing for which I sent it”. God’s word will never return void as it is
powerful. Let us start declaring the promises of God over all the situations of
our life. God is faithful to fulfill all His promises in our life at the right
time. Hold the promises of God by faith and see their manifestations in life.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, we thank You for all the
promises you have given us. You are the promise keeping God and all Your promises
are Yes and Amen. We believe that You will fulfill all the promises You have given us in the
right time. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
