Walk By Faith Not By Sight

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Noah was a righteous man and he walked with God. When God warned him about the flood, he completely believed God even though he never saw a visible sign of the flood. He built an ark as God commanded him. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1.
Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Noah acted on faith by obeying to God’s word.  By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith - Hebrews 11:7.
Noah did not see the situations around him as he walked in faith. He took a big step of faith and built an ark. When we start walking in faith, we will start to see things in the way God sees irrespective of the situations. God fulfilled His promises that He made to Noah. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive - Genesis 7:23.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to walk in faith and not by sight. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
