Fruit of The Labor

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it - Proverbs 10:22.

             When we fear and honor God and walk in His ways, we will enjoy the fruit of our own labor and blessings and prosperity will be ours. Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, you shall be happy, and it shall be well with you - Psalm 128:1,2. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes us rich and so let us glorify God by our work. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men - Colossians 3:23.

           It is truly a gift of God for us to be blessed with prosperity and to be happy. Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor - this is the gift of God - Ecclesiastes 5:18, 19.

           It is the God who gives us the increase and the power to get wealth. And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth - Deuteronomy 8:18.  Revelation 4:11 says, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.” As we enjoy the very goodness of God’s creation, let us bring glory to God.

                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who blesses us. We thank You for giving us the ability to enjoy the fruit of our labor. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
