Commitment

And may your hearts be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time - 1Kings 8:61.

Commitment is a process that begins with an action. God will help us when we first commit all our ways to Him and trust Him. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass - Psalm 37:5. Our hearts will be fully committed to the Lord when we obey the commands of God and walk in His statutes. With whom and what we spend our time defines what we are really committed to. Let us commit our time in meditating the word of God and prayer.
Let us be committed to our family in a way how the Bible has defined a family should be. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord - Colossians 3:18-20.
Let us also be committed to soul winning. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise – Proverbs 11:30. As God had commanded us, let us commit ourselves to go into the world and make disciples. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Mathew 28:19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We commit ourselves and our life into Your hands. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
