Pray In The Spirit

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests - Ephesians 6:18.

We need to pray in the Spirit with all kinds of prayers and requests at all times. I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding - 1 Corinthians 14:15. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit - Galatians 5:25. He who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life - Galatians 6:8.

When we yield to the Holy Spirit in prayer, the Spirit will teach us what to pray and how to pray. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries - 1 Corinthians 15:2. Jude says to build ourselves on our faith by praying in the Holy Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit - Jude 20.

The Spirit also helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us according to the will of God. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God - Romans 8:26,27. Let us always pray in Spirit with prayers and requests on all occasions.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to pray in the Spirit at all times. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Created With A Purpose

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them - Ephesians 2:10.

God’s creation is amazing. He made the world and everything in it by His Word. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him - Colossians 1:16.

God created us beautifully in His own image with a purpose. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. He values us and cares for us. Psalm 139:13-14 says “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.”

God who created us will fill our life with strength, hope, power and purpose. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure - Philippians 2:13. May the purpose and plan of God for us be fulfilled in our life. The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands - Psalm 138:8.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our Creator. May the purpose and plan You have for us be fulfilled in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Because He Lives

Because I live, you will live also - John 14:19.

Christ who was raised from dead will never die again and He is alive forevermore. Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God – Romans 6:9,10. He is the Lord who lives and death has no longer mastery over Him. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore - Revelation 1:18.

He is the living God. We trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe - 1 Timothy 4:10. Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”. The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Corinthians 15: 54-57 I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth - Job 19:25.

We will also live because He lives in us. I no longer live, but Christ lives in me - Galatians 2:20. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you - Romans 8:11. Let us live in the light of God. If we live in the light as God is in the light then we can share fellowship with each other - 1 John 1:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the living God. We thank You as we live because You are alive. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessings of Being Filled With The Holy Spirit

He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man - Ephesians 3:16.

1. The Holy Spirit guides us

The Holy Spirit guides us, leads us and directs us. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth - John 16:13.

2. The Holy Spirit teaches us

The Holy Spirit is our teacher who instructs us, teaches us and trains us. The Spirit, will teach you all things - John 14:26.

3. The Holy Spirit helps us

The Holy Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses - Romans 8:26.

4. The Holy Spirit empowers us

We will receive the power when the Holy Spirit fills us. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth - Acts 1: 8

5. The Holy Spirit liberates us

The Holy Spirit gives us liberty. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty - 2 Corinthians 3:17.

6. The Holy Spirit equips us

The Holy Spirit equips us with spiritual gifts to do a powerful ministry. To one is given through the Spirit – wisdom, to another knowledge, to another faith, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing of spirits, to another speaking in tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All of these are the work of the Spirit - 1Corinthians 12: 8-11

7. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us

The Holy Spirit intercedes for us when we do not know what to pray. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered - Romans 8:26.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for the blessings of the Holy Spirit that guides us, teaches us, helps us, empowers us, liberates us, equips us and intercedes for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Receive The Holy Spirit

And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit” - John 20:22.

Jesus having given His peace and purpose after the resurrection to His disciples, breathed on them to receive His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to do the will of God with power. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth - Acts 1:8.

The Holy Spirit is a gift to be received from God. God will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him and obey Him. If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! - Luke 11:13. We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him - Acts 5:32.

God gives us the Holy Spirit without measure. For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit - John 3:34. I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions - Joel 2:28. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God - 1 Corinthians 2:12.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your gift of the Holy Spirit to us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Am The True Vine

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser - John 15:1.

Abide in God to bear much fruit

Jesus is the True Vine and we are His branches. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing - John 15:5. When we abide in God by having a close relationship with Him, we bear much fruit. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me - John 15:4.

Abide in His Word to receive what you desire

When we abide in God and His Words abide in us, we will receive from God what we desire. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7. We are the disciples of God when we abide in His Word. Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed” - John 8:31.

Abide in His love by keeping His commandments

We will abide in the love of God when we keep His commandments.  As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love - John 15:9,10. Our joy will be full when we remain in God. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full - John 15:11.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the true Vine and we are Your branches. Let us abide in You to bear much fruit and be a blessing for people. In Jesus; name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Way The Truth And The Life

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” - John 14:6.

The way

Jesus is the only way to heaven. No one can come to the Father except through Jesus. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time - 1 Timothy 2:5.

The truth

Jesus is the truth. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth - John 1:14. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free - John 8:32. The Spirit of truth will guide us into all truth. He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever - the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive - John 14:16,17. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth - John 16:12.

The life

Jesus who is the life is the giver of life and that too abundant life. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10. You may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name - John 20:31. In Him was life and through Him we have life. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life - 1 John 5:12,

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the only way, truth and life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Resurrection And Life

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” - John 11:25,26.

Jesus raised Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha in Bethany after he had been dead for four days. Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God? - John 11:40. Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go” - John 11:43,44.

The One who raised Lazarus from the grave was Himself raised from the grave. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you - Romans 8:11. The Spirit of God who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and has given us eternal life. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life - 1 John 5:11,12.

Jesus Himself is the resurrection and life who brings resurrection and life to those who believe Him. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die - John 11:25,26. Let us believe God and have the everlasting life. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life - John 5:24.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the resurrection and life. Let us believe and see Your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Good Shepherd

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep - John 10:11.

Jesus is the good shepherd who knows us and loves us. I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. John 10:14-15. He laid down his life for us. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all - Isaiah 53:6.

Jesus is the good shepherd who takes care of us. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young - Isaiah 40:11. He is our shepherd who guides us and leads us in right path, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake - Psalm 23:1-3.

Let us hear the voice of our good shepherd every day and follow Him. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand - John 10:27,28. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes - Revelation 7:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our good Shepherd. Let us hear Your voce and follow Your ways. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Door

I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture - John 10:9.

Jesus who is our Shepherd is the door for us to enter and to find pasture. Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep" - John 10:6. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it - Matthew 7:13,14.

The only access we have to God is through Christ, and Him alone. He is the door of salvation. In John 14:6, he said, “No one comes to the father except through the son.” Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved - Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved - Romans 10:9.

Like how the door offers security, Jesus who is the door protects us from all harm. Nothing shall by any means hurt you - Luke 10:19. He is the only place of rest and protection. He promises to save us and protect us when we enter through the door. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the door. We thank You for giving us access to the Father and protecting us from all harm. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Light of The World

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” - John 8:12.

Jesus is the light of the world. He came to the world as a light. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all - 1 John 1:5. I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness - John 12:46. We will no longer be in the darkness but have the light of life when we follow God. John 8:12 says, "Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." This means life in all its fullness.

The Lord led the people of Israel in the wilderness by the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire. And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night - Exodus 13:21. God’s Word is the lamp to our feet and light to our path that leads us and guides us. Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path - Psalm 119:105.

Jesus who is the light of the world said that we are the light of the world. You are the light of the world. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:14,16. Being a light of the world, let us also walk in the light as He is in the light. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin - 1 John 1:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the light of the world. Help us to walk in light and shine in the darkness like You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

I Am The Bread of Life

“Then Jesus declared, ‘I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty’” - John 6:35.

Jesus is our bread of life who gives life to us. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world - John 6:33. He who eats this bread will live forever - John 6:58. He is the bread of life who satisfies our soul. And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst - John 6:35.

Jesus who satisfied the physical hunger by feeding 5000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, satisfies the spiritual hunger too. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him” - John 6:27. He is our bread from heaven and we need to eat food that lasts forever. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die - John 6:47-50.

Let us feed everyday upon Jesus who is the bread of life. The word of God nourishes our soul. But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God’” - Matthew 4:4. Taste and see that the Lord is good - Psalm 34:8. But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” - John 6:58. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat - Revelation 2:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the bread of life. Give us this day our daily bread. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

New Life

Behold, I make all things new - Revelation 21:5.

New thing

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert - Isaiah 43:18,19.

Newness of life

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4.

New man

Be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness - Ephesians 4:23.

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him - Colossians 3:9,10

Made alive

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus - Ephesians 2:4-6.

New life

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you - Romans 8:11.

New heart

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you - Ezekiel 36:26.

New spirit

Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh - Ezekiel 11:19.

All things new

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new - 2 Corinthians 5:17.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for making all things new in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

As the Father has sent Me I also send you

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you” - John 20:21.

Jesus having given His peace to the disciples revealed their purpose. He said to them that just as the father sent Him to the world, He also sends them. He assigned them the task of spreading the gospel. Their purpose is not to be behind the locked doors of a house in fear but to go in peace and spread the gospel. We are ambassadors for Christ - 2 Corinthians 5:20. The disciples obeyed God and preached the gospel everywhere.             .

The Great Commission of the Lord is to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptize them and preach them. The one who sends us is always with us. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age - Matthew 28:18.

Jesus was sent to the world to fulfill the will of father and to finish His work. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work” - John 4:34. He finished the work which was given to Him by the Father. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given to me - John 17:4. Let us fulfill the will of God for us by declaring His glory among the nations. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples - Psalm 96:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to fulfill Your will and purpose just as how You fulfilled the will and finished the work of Father. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Jesus Our Great Teacher

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.

Jesus was a great teacher. He taught about the kingdom of God in Synagogues. This teaching was an activity open to any layman who was willing to be taught. Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people - Matthew 4:23. He taught the Lord’s prayer to His disciples. He taught the people with authority. And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes - Mark 1:21,22. You call me teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am - John 13:13.

We are so blessed to be taught and instructed by God. Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law - Psalm 94:12. O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I declare Your wondrous works - Psalm 71:17. All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children - Isaiah 54:13. God teaches His ways to all who fear Him. Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses - Psalm 25:12. Now you shall speak to him and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do - Exodus 4:15.

The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you - John 14:26. When we wait upon the Lord, He will teaches us His paths and ways. Make me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day - Psalm 25:4-5. Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground - Psalm 143:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for teaching us and instructing us in the way we should go. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Christ Is Seated At The Right Hand of God

Christ is seated at the right hand of God - Colossians 3:1.

Christ who died for us was raised and seated at the right hand of God. He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come - Ephesians 1:20, 21. Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God - Luke 22:69.

Jesus sat at the right hand of God after offering Himself as sacrifice for sins forever. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God - Hebrews 10:12. He sat down at the right hand of God after instructing the Great Commission to the disciples. So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God - Mark 16:19.

Jesus who is seated at the right hand of God is interceding for us. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us - Romans 8:34. Jesus Christ who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him - 1 Peter 3:21,22.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are seated at the right hand of God, the Father. We thank You for the glorious things You have done on the cross for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessed Is He Who Considers The Poor

Blessed is he who considers the poor - Psalm 41:1.

God wants us to reflect His love by helping the poor and needy people. He will bless, protect, deliver, strengthen and sustain the one who considers the poor. The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed - Psalm 41:1-3.

Good things will come to people who are generous. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely - Psalm 112:5. Their horn will be exalted with honor. He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor - Psalm 112:9. It is more blessed to give than to receive - Acts 20:35.

God’s blessings easily enter our lives when we consider the poor. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself - Proverbs 11:25. Let our left hand do not know what our right hand is doing when helping the poor. But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing - Matthew 6:3.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to consider the poor. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

For God To Answer Our Prayers

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him - 1 John 5:14-15.

Approach God with a clean heart

If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear - Psalm 66:18. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear - Isaiah 59:2.

Help the poor

Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be heard - Proverbs 21:13.

Be righteous

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil - 1 Peter 3:12.

Ask according to His will

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14.

Keep His commandments and do things that please God

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight - 1 John 3:22.

Forgive others

And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses - Mark 11:25,26.

Do not pray with selfish motives

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures - James 4:3.

Abide in God

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you - John 15:7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Lord who answers our prayers. Help us to approach You with a clean heart. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Worthy Is The Lamb

Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! - Revelation 5:12.

Jesus is the lamb who was slain for our sins. He who knew no sin was made as sin for us. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him - 2 Corinthians 5:21. The Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world - John 1:29.

Jesus who gave His life for the ransom of many is worthy of our praises. Let us give thanks to the Lord, the lamb that was slain. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints - Revelation 5:8. The Lord God  almighty is the only wise and holy God.

Let us praise the Lord who is worthy and who deserves all honor, power, might, wealth, wisdom, glory, and blessing. The lamb that was slain was sitting on the throne. And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - Revelation 5:13.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the lamb that was slain and worthy of all praises. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Through The Resurrection of Christ

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead - 1 Peter 1:3.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life”. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live - John 11:25.

And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power - 1 Corinthians 6:14.

That the Christ must suffer and that, by being the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles - Acts 26:23

If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you - Romans 8.11.

It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification - Romans 4:24-25.

Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin - Romans 6:6.

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved - Romans 10:9.

I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death - Philippians 3:10.

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again - 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.

If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith - 1 Corinthians 15:13-14.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 4:14.

Just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4.

For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive - 1 Corinthians 15:21-22.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for raising us to new life through the power of Your resurrection. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Feed My Sheep

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep - John 21:17.

Peter who denied Jesus three times was called by Jesus three times to feed His Sheep. Jesus assured Peter that he has been restored to feed and take care of God's flock. Jesus is our good Shepherd and we are His sheep. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep - John 10:11. It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture - Psalm 100:3.

God feeds us, guides us and tenderly leads us like a Shepherd who takes care of His sheep. I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord God - Ezekiel 34: 14,15. He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young - Isaiah 40:11.

Later when Peter preached, about three thousand people were baptized and added to the church (Acts 2:41). He healed a lame man (Acts 3). He preached boldly and he was mightily used by God. People brought sick to the streets that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow them (Acts 5:14-16). And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it - Matthew 16:18. Let us also love God by feeding His sheep.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to feed Your sheep. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
