Christ is seated at the right hand of God - Colossians 3:1.
Christ
who died for us was raised and seated at the right hand of God. He raised Him
from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far
above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is
named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come - Ephesians 1:20,
21. Hereafter the Son of Man will sit on the right hand of the power of God -
Luke 22:69.
Jesus sat at the right hand of God after
offering Himself as sacrifice for sins forever. But this Man, after He had
offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God -
Hebrews 10:12. He sat down at the right hand of God after instructing the Great
Commission to the disciples. So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was
received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God - Mark 16:19.
Jesus who is seated at the right hand of
God is interceding for us. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also
risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us
- Romans 8:34. Jesus Christ who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand
of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him - 1 Peter
3:21,22.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are seated at
the right hand of God, the Father. We thank You for the glorious things You
have done on the cross for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
