He is not here; for He is risen, as He said - Matthew 28:6.
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went
to the tomb to anoint the dead body of their Lord. But when they got there, the
stone was rolled away and the tomb was empty. But the angel answered and said
to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was
crucified. He is not here; for He is
risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay” - Matthew 28:5,6.
The angel also instructed them to go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen
from the dead.
As Jesus said that on the third day He
would be raised to life, He is risen. But now Christ is risen from the dead,
and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by
man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam
all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive - 1 Corinthians 15:20-22. The
God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him
God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance
to Israel and forgiveness of sins - Acts 5:30,31.
Jesus conquered death and He is victorious over the grave. “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" - I Corinthians 15:55. He is the Redeemer who lives. I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live - John 11:25. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death - Revelation 1:18. He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again - 2 Corinthians 5:15. Because I live, you will live also - John 14:19.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise your name. You are the risen
Lord and we live because You live. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.
