I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye - Psalm 32:8.
Jesus was a great
teacher. He taught about the kingdom of God in Synagogues. This teaching was an
activity open to any layman who was willing to be taught. Jesus went throughout
Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the
kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people - Matthew 4:23.
He taught the Lord’s prayer to His disciples. He taught the people with
authority. And they were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one
having authority, and not as the scribes - Mark 1:21,22. You call me teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am - John 13:13.
We are so blessed to be taught and instructed
by God. Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, And teach out of Your law
- Psalm 94:12. O God, You have taught me from my youth; And to this day I
declare Your wondrous works - Psalm 71:17. All your children shall be taught by
the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children - Isaiah 54:13. God
teaches His ways to all who fear Him. Who is the man that fears the Lord? Him
shall He teach in the way He chooses - Psalm 25:12. Now you shall speak to him
and put the words in his mouth. And I will be with your mouth and with his
mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do - Exodus 4:15.
The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you - John 14:26. When we wait upon the Lord, He will teaches us His paths and ways. Make me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day - Psalm 25:4-5. Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground - Psalm 143:10.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for
teaching us and instructing us in the way we should go. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Amen.
