Pray for each other - James 5:16.
Praying for others is a powerful way to bear each other’s burdens and a blessing we can give others. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ - Galatians 6:2. Let us remember people by name and need and pray for them. I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness - 1 Timothy 2:1-2.
For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request - Romans 1:9,10a.
Paul prayed for the Ephesians
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God - Ephesians 3:14-19.
Epaphras prayed for the believers in Colossae, Laodicea and Hierapolis
Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured - Colossians 4:12.
Jesus prayed for Simon Peter
And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” - Luke 22:31,32a.
Jesus prayed for all believers
I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word - John 17:20.
