Do Not Grow Weary In Doing Good

Do not grow weary in doing good - 2 Thessalonians 3:13.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness - Psalm 37:3.

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so.  Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give it,” When you have it with you - Proverbs 3:27,28.

Depart from evil and do good, So you will abide forever - Psalm 37:27.

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so - Proverbs 3:27.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else - 1 Thessalonians 5:15.

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers - Galatians 6:9, 10.

Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else - 1 Thessalonians 5:15.

And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High - Luke 6:33-35.

Do good to those who hate you - Luke 6:27.

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked - Luke 6:35.

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the Lord will reward you - Proverbs 25:21,22.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good - Romans 12:21.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect - Matthew 5:44,45.48.

Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life - 1 Timothy 6:18,19.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us not be weary in doing good to others. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Building Yourselves Up

But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit - Jude 20.

1. Build on the Word

We need to commit to build our lives on the Word. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly - Colossians 3:16. Be doers of the word and not hearers only - James 1:22. Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified - Acts 20:32.

2. Build the prayer life

We need to build the intimacy with God by prayer. Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful - Colossians 4:2. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge - Psalm 62:8. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - Matthew 5:44.

3. Build relationships with others

We need to build relationships with others by being patient, tolerant, forgiving and living at peace with everyone. Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do - Colossians 3:30. Make every effort to live in peace with everyone - Hebrews 12:14. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone - Romans 12:18.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness - Colossians 2:6,7.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us build ourselves up by building on the Word, prayer and relationships with others. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Paul's Prayers

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people - Ephesians 6:18.

The apostle Paul prayed regularly for all the people he served. When he was praying for them, he first thought of being thankful for them. He was thankful for them and for all the experiences that he shared with them. He also prayed for them to be saved.

Prayer for people in Rome

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers, making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you - Romans 1:9,10.

Prayer for people in Israel

Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes - Romans 10:1-4.

Prayer for people in Corinth

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus -1 Corinthians 1:4.

Prayer for people in Ephesus

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe - Ephesians 1:16-19.

Prayer for people in Philippi

I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus - Philippians 1:3-6. And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the glory and praise of God - Philippians 1:9-11.

Prayer for people in Colossae

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people - the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you - Colossians 1:3-6.

Prayer for people in Thessalonica

We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers. 3 We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ - 1 Thessalonians 1:2, 3.

Night and day we pray most earnestly that we may see you again and supply what is lacking in your faith - 1 Thessalonians 3:10.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us pray for others and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Intercession

I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people - 1 Timothy 2:1.

Jesus made intercession for the transgressors. Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors - Isaiah 53:12. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” - Luke 23:34. Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you - Matthew 5:44. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us - Romans 8:34.

Abraham interceded for Lot. Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?”. And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place - Genesis 18:32,33. God remembered Abraham's earnest plea of intercession and rescued Lot and his family when He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when He overthrew the cities in which Lot had dwelt - Genesis 19:29.

Let us intercede for others and let our requests be made known to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:6,7. Pray for one another, that you may be healed - James 5:16. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints - Ephesians 6:18.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us intercede for others and let all our requests be made known to You in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Blessings

Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord God, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever - 2 Samuel 7:29.

God's Word

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates - Deuteronomy 6:5-9.

Prayer - God's eyes are open & ears are attentive

Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually - 2 Chronicles 7:15-16.

Serving God

As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord - Joshua 24:15.

Blessed when coming in & going out

Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out - Deuteronomy 28:6.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain - Psalm 127:1.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank you for blessing our home. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Seek God With All Your Heart

Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart - Psalm 119:2.

Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob - Psalm 24:5-6.

Let us seek God first with all our heart. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you - Matthew 6:33. O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water - Psalm 63:1.
