Return to the stronghold, You
prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you - Zechariah
9:12.
Our God is the Lord of restoration. He is able
to restore whatever we have lost in our life. So I will restore to you the
years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming
locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall
eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, Who
has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame - Joel
2:25, 26. God will remove all shame and failures and bring restoration in our
lives. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy - Psalm 26:5.
Jesus healed
the man with a withered hand and restored it as whole as the other. Then He
said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and it was
restored as whole as the other - Mathew 12:13. Whatever the enemy has stolen in
our life, God will restore us and make us whole. For I will restore health to
you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord - Jeremiah 30:17. Let us return and surrender to God for restoration. Restore us, O God; Cause Your face to shine,
and we shall be saved - Psalm 80:3. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation -
Psalm 51:12.
Job trusted God’s will in
his life despite his sufferings. When he prayed for his friends, God restored
his losses and blessed him double fold. And the Lord restored Job’s losses when
he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had
before - Job 42:10. God will not only restore us whatever we have lost but He
will bless us double fold when our trust is on Him. Instead of your shame you
shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their
portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy
shall be theirs - Isaiah 61:5. May we experience God’s restoration in all areas
of our life.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We commit to trust
You and Your will in our life as You are our restorer. In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
