I will lift up my eyes to the hills -
From whence comes my help? My help comes
from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1,2.
God is our helper. Behold, God
is my helper - Psalm 54:4. He is with us to help us and strengthen us. Fear not, for I
am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I
will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand - Isaiah 41:10.
He is always there to help us whenever we seek Him. He is a rewarder of those
who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6.
God helped Elijah by sending
ravens to bring him food. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning,
and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook - 1 Kings 17:6.
God loves us and takes care of us. He knows all our needs and He will never forsake us. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake
you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can
man do to me?” - Hebrews 13:5,6.
No one can help us like our God. The help of man is useless. Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is
useless - Psalm 60:11. Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man,
in whom there is no help - Psalm 146:3. David always placed his trust in God for help
instead of man. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble -
Psalm 46:1. Let us trust only the Lord who is the maker of heaven and earth for our help at any time. Happy is he who has the God of
Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God - Psalm 146:5.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our
helper. We thank You for helping us in all situations. In Jesus name we pray.
