Alpha And The Omega

 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last - Revelation 22:13.

                Our Lord God Almighty is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last of everything. Alpha is the first letter and Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty - Revelation 1:8. The Word which was in the beginning was God. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God - John 1:1,2.

             God is the firstborn over all creation and firstborn from the dead. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation - Colossians 1:15. Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth - Revelation 1:5. He who is the alpha and the Omega, declares the end from the beginning in our life. Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure’ - Isaiah 46:10.

                 God is the author and finisher of our faith. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God - Hebrews 12:2.  He who began a good work in us will bring it to completion. He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ - Philippians 1:6.                                                       

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. We submit everything into Your hands. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Power of A Praying Mother

 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him - 1 Samuel 1:27.

                      Hannah poured out her heart to God and prayed that if God would give her a child, she would give back to Him. But have poured out my soul before the Lord - 1 Samuel 1:15. Like Hannah, let us pour out our heart to God and bring all our needs to Him. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:7. God answered the prayer of Hannah and blessed her with Samuel who became the great prophet of Israel. For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him - 1 Samuel 1: 27.       

                     God also blessed her with five more children. And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord - 1 Samuel 2:21. He blessed Hannah exceedingly and abundantly more than she asked God. There is power in prayer. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us - Ephesians 3:20.

                Hannah praised God and sang a song of thanksgiving as her prayer was heard by God. And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” - 1 Samuel 2:1. Like Hannah, let us also pray to God for everything and rely on His strength. His power and His wisdom. Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised - Proverbs 31:30.

Trust In The Lord

 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord - Jeremiah 17:7.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths - Proverbs 3:5-6.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness - Psalm 37:3.

Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us - Psalm 62:8.

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:2.

You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; He is their help and their shield - Psalm 115:11.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man - Psalm 118:8.

Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act - Psalm 37:4-5.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me? - Psalm 56:3-4.

The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him - Nahum 1:7.

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe - Proverbs 29:25.

I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust - Psalm 91:2.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7.

He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him - Proverbs 30:5.

And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You - Psalm 9:10.

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him - Psalm 32:10.

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid - Isaiah 12:2.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal - Isaiah 26:3,4.

For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name - Psalm 33:21.                                                           

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our strength, shield, refuge, fortress, stronghold and salvation. Let us trust You at all times. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Power In The Blood of Christ

 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony -Revelation 12:11.

                Jesus Christ, the Passover lamb shed his precious blood for us on the cross of Calvary. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed - 1 Corinthians 5:7. His blood cleanses us from all our sins (John 1:7). We are brought near to God by His precious blood (Ephesians 2:13). We are redeemed and justified by His blood (1 Peter 1:19, Romans 5:9). We are healed by His stripes. By His stripes we are healed - Isaiah 53:5.

                 There is power in the precious blood of Christ. It was the blood of Jesus that paid the price for all our sins. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins - Matthew 26:28. The blood of Christ provides victory over all of our enemies. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy - Psalm 107:2.

                There is protection in the blood of Christ. Let us apply the blood of Christ in all the doorposts of our life. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt - Exodus 12:13. Nothing can harm us as we are covered by the blood of Christ.

Come Boldly To The Throne of Grace

 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.

Come boldly to the throne of grace

                       God is able to save all those who come to Him. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them - Hebrews 7:25. He will give rest for all those who come to Him. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest - Matthew 11:28. He will never cast out all who comes to Him. Whoever comes to me I will never cast out - John 6:37. We can access the throne of grace with confidence at any time. 

To obtain mercy and grace

                God’s mercies and grace are upon all those who approach the throne of grace. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. - Hebrews 2:17. His grace is sufficient for us in all circumstances. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it - John 14:13,14.   

God’s help in time of need

                      God is our helper who helps us in times of need. I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help?  My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth - Psalm 121:1,2. Jesus is our High priest who is sitting at the right of God and interceding for us. He is able to help all those who are tempted as He Himself was tempted. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin - Hebrews 4:15.  For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted - Hebrews 2:18. He will help us in everything we face in our life.                                             

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us always come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

My Strength Is In You Lord

                               Blessed is the man whose strength is in You - Psalm 84:5.

                    The Lord is the strength of our life. The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation - Exodus 15:2. The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? - Psalm 27:1. There is no need to be afraid of anything in life as God is our strength. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble - Psalm 46:1. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19.

                  David always found strength in the Lord in all his situations. But David found strength in the Lord his God -1 Samuel 30:6. God restored to David all that he lost at Ziklag as he turned to God and found strength in Him. God’s strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness - 2 Corinthians 12:9. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength - Isaiah 40:29.

                Our strength will fail. Let us always trust the Lord who is our strength, rock, fortress, deliverer and salvation. I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold - Psalm 18:1,2. They go from strength to strength - Psalm 84:17.                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our strength. Let Your strength be made perfect in our weaknesses. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Be Delivered From The Spirit of Heaviness

 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified - Isaiah 61:3.          

              The Spirit of heaviness is a demonic Spirit which can be driven away by the garment of praise. There is a great power in praises. Let us offer a sacrifice of praise to God continually and drive away the spirit of heaviness. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall be continually in my mouth - Psalm 34:1.The high praises of God in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand - Psalm 149:6. God's Word refreshes our soul. The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul - Psalm 19:7.

                The word of God sets us free from all bondages. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free - John 8:32. Let us take control of our thoughts and always ensure that they line up with the Word of God. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:4,5.

             There is liberty from the spirit of heaviness when we are filled with the Holy Spirit. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty - 2 Corinthians 3:17. Let us call on the name of the Lord to be delivered from the Spirit of heaviness. It shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered. Joel 2:32. In your presence there is fullness of joy - Psalm 16:11. May God deliver us from the Spirit of heaviness and let us experience the glorious freedom that God has for us.
