Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! - Psalm 150:3-5.
For His mighty acts
God had done wonderful and mighty acts in our life and so let us praise Him. Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! - Psalm 150:2. Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what He has done - Psalm 105:1. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts - Psalm 105:2. He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen - Deuteronomy 10:21. Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name - Psalm 103:1.
For being our strength and shield
Let us praise God for being our strength and shield. The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him - Psalm 28:7. The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him - Exodus 15:2. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High - Psalm 9:2.
With thanksgiving
Let us praise God and magnify Him with thanksgiving. I will praise the name of God with song, and shall magnify Him with thanksgiving - Psalm 69:30. By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name - Hebrews 13:15. I will give to the Lord the thanks due to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High - Psalm 7:17. Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O LORD, and I will sing praises to Your name - Psalm 18:49.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, We praise You and magnify Your name with thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
