Eating God's Word

 Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart - Jeremiah 15:16.

               God’s Word brings us happiness and joy to our heart as we ate it. We live by the Word of God. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God - Mathew 4:4. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever - John 6:51.

              God’s Word is sweeter than honey to taste. How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth - Psalm 119:103. They are sweeter than honey than honey from the honey comb - Psalm 19:10. Taste and see that the Lord is good - Psalm 34:8. It is the spiritual food that we need to eat every day. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby - 1 Peter 2:2.

              God's Word gives us life and health to our flesh. For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:22. It strengthens us. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word - Psalm 119:28. Let us praise God with joyful lips as our soul is nourished by God’s Word that are great and precious. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips - Psalm 63:5.

                                                

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your Word. Let us be strengthened and satisfied  by eating Your Word every day.
