Paul - An Apostle of Thanksgiving

Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20.

Paul is the apostle of thanksgiving who gave the most thanks among all the writers of scriptures. I thank my God (Philemon 1:4). We give thanks to God (Colossians 1:3). I thank God (II Timothy 1:3). Giving thanks unto the Father (Colossians 1:12). We thank God without ceasing (I Thessalonians 2:13). I thank Christ Jesus our Lord (I Timothy 1:12).
Paul taught us to give thanks in everything. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (I Thessalonians 5:18). He also taught us to give thanks for all things. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 5:20).
Paul taught us to abound in thanksgiving. Overflowing with thankfulness (Colossians 2:7). And be thankful (Colossians 3:15). Watching in the same with thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2). I exhort that giving of thanks be made for all men (I Timothy 2:1). At the conclusion of all his letters, Paul remembers to pray, praise and thank God. Let us also thank and praise God.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for Your great love. Help us to be thankful for everything. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
