Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of
praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name –
Hebrews 13:15.
We serve a wonderful God
and let us thank Him for who He is. God is love - 1 John 4:8. For God so loved
the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life – John 3:16. God is good all the
time. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good - I Chronicles 16:34.
Our God is gracious, merciful, powerful and compassionate. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, Slow to anger and great in
mercy – Psalm 145:8. He is sovereign. O Sovereign LORD! You have made the
heavens and earth by Your great power. Nothing is too hard for You!” - Jeremiah
32:17. He is the all-powerful God. God's power is so immeasurable that His
understanding cannot be determined either - Psalm 147:5.
Our God is holy and so let
us also be holy and worship Him. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his
holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. psalm 96:9. "Who is like You
among the gods, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in
praises, working wonders? – Exodus 15:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our gracious, merciful, powerful, faithful
and compassionate God. We thank for who You are. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
