Paul's Thanksgiving Prayer for Others

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy – Philippians 1:3,4.

Paul provides an example for us to follow by thanking God for others. He thanked God for Philippi church by remembering them. He stated that he thanked God for them in his every prayer. He thanked God for their fellowship with him in the gospel ministry from the time he visited them until now he was in the prison.
Paul always places his thanks expression after his epistle’s greetings. I do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers – Ephesians 1:16. We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you - Colossians 1:3. We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers - 1 Thessalonians 1:2,3.
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus - 1 Corinthians 1:4. I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers - Philemon 1:4. First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you - Romans 1:8. Like Paul, let us also thank God for one another with joy. Instead of judging others, let us spend time with God by thanking for them.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to remember all people who are connected with us by thanking for them in prayers. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
