Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His
mercy from me – Psalm 66:20.
Our God is a prayer answering
God. Whatever things we ask in His name, we will receive it. Prayer changes
things. Our God hears and answers all our prayers. David’s psalm is a song of
thanksgiving for all his answered prayers. Whenever David was in distress, he
cried to God and God delivered him.
God answered the prayer of Hannah and she praised God. I prayed for this
child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord – 1 Samuel
1:27. Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my
horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your
deliverance.” Hannah rejoiced and her soul is full of praises to God.
The Lord is near to all who call upon
Him, to all who call upon Him in truth -Psalm 145:18. Let us thank God who
hears and answers all our prayers when we ask Him. If you then, being evil,
know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father
who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him - Matthew 7:11. Be
thankful to God who satisfies us with good things.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our prayer answering God. We thank
You for answering all our prayers and granting all the desires of our heart. In
Jesus name we pray. Amen.
