Choose To Rejoice In The Lord

 Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice! - Philippians 4:4.

                   Even when everything in life goes wrong, let us choose to rejoice in God. Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation (Habakkuk 3:17-18). The Apostle Paul said, "I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation" (2 Corinthians 7:4).

                  God promises to give us His peace when we present all our requests to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart - Psalm 37:4.

                  Let us find strength in God during difficult times and rejoice always. The joy of the LORD is your strength - Nehemiah 8:10. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:19. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24.

                                         

PRAYER : Dear Lord, Help us make a choice to rejoice always in the midst of all our circumstances as You are our strength. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
