Our Strong Tower

The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe - Proverbs 18:10.

               The name of the Lord is the name above every names.  To be safe from all the attacks which come against us, we can run into the name of the Lord. The name of the Lord is our divine protection. It is a refuge for us to run into it. God is our hiding place and during troubled times, He is our ever-present help. He is described in Psalm 46:1 as refuge, our strength, a very present help in time of trouble.

              God is our shelter and strong tower and He will protect us from enemies. For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy - Psalm 61:3. I will love You, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies - Psalm 18:1-3.

              When we are righteous which means when we do right things before God, we can run into the name of the Lord which is a strong tower and be safe. Let us be righteous and trust in the name of the Lord. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we trust in the name of the Lord our God - Psalm 20:7. Nothing can harm us as we are very safe in the name of the Lord, a strong tower.

                                                       

PRAYER: Dear Lord, As Your name is a strong tower, let us always run into it and be safe. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
