Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord,
Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father
in heaven - Mathew 7:21.
Jesus came down to earth to do the will of father
who sent Him. For I have come down from
heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me - John 6:38. His
food is to do the will of God. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will
of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work - John 4:34. God works in us to do
His will. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good
pleasure - Philippians 2:13.
David
is a man of God’s heart who walked in the will of God. He raised up for them David as
king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of
Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will’ - Acts 13:22. Walking
in the will of God means walking in the steps which God has ordered and planned for our life
in a way that pleases Him. Make you complete in every good work to do His will,
working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to
whom be glory forever and ever. Amen - Hebrews 13:21.
When we do the will of God, we will be in
the family of God. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My
brother and sister and mother - Mathew 12:50. For it is better, if it is the
will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil - 1 Peter 3:17. Let
us understand and be filled with the knowledge of God’s will. Therefore, do not
be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is - Ephesians 5:17.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to
understand Your will and walk according to it. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
