True Worship

              Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs - Psalm 100:2.

                    God is seeking true worshipers. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth - John 4:24. Worship is honoring God. These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men - Mathew 15:8,9. Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth - Psalm 96:9.

                 Let us worship God with reverence as He is a consuming fire. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” - Hebrews 12:28,29. Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you - Exodus 23:25. All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name - Psalm 86:9.

                 Let us worship God with our lives. There I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind - Romans 12:1,2. We can worship God from songs in our heart. Ephesians 5:19 says, "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord."

                                              

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Help us to always worship You in spirit and truth. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
