Enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness - Acts 4:29b.
The Holy Spirit empowers boldness in us. Being filled with the Holy Spirit, Peter and John spoke the name of Jesus with boldness. Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel" - Acts 4:8. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus - Acts 4:13. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness - Acts 4:31.
We will be as bold as lion when we are righteous. The righteous are bold as a lion - Proverbs 28:1. God brought them out of Egypt; they have the strength of a wild ox. They devour hostile nations and break their bones in pieces; with their arrows they pierce them - Numbers 24:8. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind - 2 Timothy 1:7. For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold - 2 Corinthians 3:10-12.
We will obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need and whatever we ask we receive from Him as we come boldly to the throne of grace. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight - 1 John 3:21. If God is for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak Your Word with great boldness. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
