He Who Promised Is Faithful

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful - Hebrews 10:23.

               All the promises of God will come to pass as our God is trustworthy and faithful to fulfill all His promises. The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does - Psalm 145:13.Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass - ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭21‬:‭45‬. For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass - Ezekiel 12:25. Not one word has failed of all His good promises - 1 Kings 8:56. I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them - Jeremiah 32:42. 

             Like Abraham, let us be strengthened in faith as He who had promised was also able to perform. Abraham believed that God would do what He had said as nothing is too hard for God. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform - Romans 4:20,23. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us - 2 Corinthians 1:20. 

                Let us thank God who is faithful to fulfill what He had promised us. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you - Genesis 28:15. Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed - Psalm 119:116. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God - 2 Corinthians 7:1.                                                            

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We thank You for being faithful in fulfilling what You have promised us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
