But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead - 2 Corinthians 1:9.
Rely only on God’s power
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weakness, so that the power of Christ may rest in me - 2 Corinthians 12:9. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil - Proverbs 3:5-7.
Rely only on God’s strength
Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken Psalm 55:22. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength - Isaiah 40:29. Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary - Isaiah 40:31. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me - Philippians 4:13.
Rely only on God and not on man
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes - Psalm 118:8-9. Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help - Psalm 146:3-6.
Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness And has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord And rely upon his God - Isaiah 50:10.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us rely only on Your power and Your strength and You in all our circumstances. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
