The Lord Is Great In Power

The Lord is slow to anger and great in power - Nahum 1:3.

             The Lord is great in power. Great is our Lord and mighty in power - Psalm 147:5. He is excellent in power - Job 37:23. Nothing is too hard for our Sovereign Lord who had made the heavens and earth by His great power. Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You- Jeremiah 32:17. Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You - Psalm 66:3.

             God's great power is made perfect in our weakness. My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness  - 2 Corinthians 12: 9. He is able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think through his mighty power. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think - Ephesians 3:20. He has power to do what he had promised to us. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised - Romans 4:20,21. 

                  May our faith be not in the wisdom of men but in the power of God and let us sing of His great power. Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God - 1 Corinthians 2:5. But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble - Psalm 59:16. O Lord, glorious in power, your right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy - Exodus 15:6. He has declared to His people the power of His works - Psalm 111:6.
