Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him - Psalm 37:7.
Abraham waited patiently and received what was promised. And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised - Hebrews 6:15. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform - Romans 4:20,23. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him - Lamentations 3:25.
Like how a farmer waits patiently, let us also wait patiently for God to work in our life. Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient - James 5:7,8. But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint - Isaiah 40:31.
Let us wait patiently with faith like Abraham for God's time by hoping in God’s word. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope - Psalm 130:5. In the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly - Psalm 5:3. Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation - Psalm 62:1. Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord - Psalm 27:14.
Be still, and know that I am God - Psalm 46:10.
I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me and heard my cry - Psalm 40:1.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us be still and wait patiently for You to work in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
