This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory - John 2:10.
Jesus went to a wedding in Cana and He said that His hour has not yet come when His mother told Him that there was no wine. Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” - John 2:3, 4. The servants believed and obeyed Jesus by filling the waterpots with water. Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim - John 2:7.
Jesus manifested His glory by turning water into wine that tasted so good. And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” . This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him - John 2:10,11.
Let us believe and wait for the glory of the Lord to be manifested in our life. If you believe, you will see the glory of God - John 11:40. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you - 1 Peter 5:6,7. He has made everything beautiful in its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us believe and wait for Your glory to be manifested in our life. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
