I Surrender All

Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass - Psalm 37:5.

Abraham surrendered his only son Isaac who was very precious to him to God in obedience and faith. He believed that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead and would keep His promises to him. By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense - Hebrews 11:17-19.

To surrender all to God is to obey Him, trust Him and to do His will. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will - Romans 12:1,2.

Let us surrender all our ways to the Lord and walk in His ways as His ways are higher than ours.  Show me Your ways, O Lord, Teach me your paths - Psalm 25:4. Make me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths - Psalm 25:4. Teach me Your way, O Lord - Psalm 27:11. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths - Proverbs 3:5,6.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, We surrender all our ways to You. Let Your will be fulfilled in our life. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
