Hope

The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love - Psalm 147:11

                        The birth of Jesus Christ brought us hope. He is our hope. Paul describes Jesus Christ as “our hope” (1 Timothy 1:1) and “the blessed hope” (Titus 2:13). He is our living hope. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead – 1 Peter 1:3.

                     When the angel brought the message to Mary that She will conceive and bear a son, she was filled with a great hope. She continued her life journey towards God’s plan with hope. God’s plans for us give us hope and future. We can find hope in the promises of God. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil - Hebrews 6:19.

                        Let us place our hope in God’s unfailing love. In His name the nations will put their hope - Mathew 12:21. God is our eternal hope. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope - Romans 15:13.

                                           

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our God of hope. Help us to place our hope in You at all moments of our life. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
