The Love of God

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life - John 3:16.         

   

                     God’s love is unconditional. He gave His one and only son for us so that we could have an everlasting life. God is love - 1 John 4:8. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! - 1 John 3:1.

                    God’s love for us is beyond comprehension. Though we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us!" (Rom. 5:8). The immeasurable love of God for us is long and wide and deep and high.

                    God loved us so much and gave himself for us. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me -Galatians 2:20.
