And by Him to reconcile all things to
Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace
through the blood of His cross - Colossians 1:20.
Christ
brought peace to us by His own blood. The
chastisement for our peace was upon Him - Isaiah 53:5. He came to this world to “give light to those
who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way
of peace” (Luke 1:79). We have peace
with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, having been justified by
faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1.
There may be many tribulations in the
world. But we can find peace in God as He had overcome the world. These things
I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have
tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world - John 16:33. We serve the God of hope who fills us with all joy and peace as we trust in Him. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit - Romans 15:13.
God has given us His peace as gift and so let us not fear about anything. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid - John 14:27. Let the
peace that is brought by the blood of Christ guard our hearts and minds. And the peace of God, which surpasses all
understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus - Philippians 4:7.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are the God of
Peace. Fill us with hope, joy and peace. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
