Jesus Is Our Great Intercessor

 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them - Hebrews 7:25.

                 Jesus is our great intercessor. He is the one who made intercession for the transgressors. Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors - Isaiah 53:12. He is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us - Romans 8:34.

           We are greatly blessed to have a great High Priest who understands our weaknesses and we can come boldly to Him with all our needs. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:15,16. He intercedes before the Father on our behalf. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus - 1 Timothy 2:25.

               The Spirit Himself intercedes for us according to the will of God. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God - Romans 8:26,27.                                               

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are our great intercessor. We thank You for interceding for us being at the right hand of God. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
