You Are Worthy

You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power - Revelation 4:11. 

            Jesus who knew no sin is made sin for us to take away the sin of the world. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him - 2 Corinthians 5:21. Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! - John 1:29. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many - Mark 10:45.           

             The lamb who was slain was worthy to receive glory and honor and power. Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise! - Revelation 5:12. He is worthy of praises. Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom - Psalm 145:3. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods - Psalm 96:4. 

             Let us praise the Lord our God who is worthy to receive the glory, honor and power. The lamb that was slain was sitting on the throne. And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - Revelation 5:13. The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints - Revelation 5:8.                                                                     

PRAYER: Dear Lord, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
