Draw Near To God

 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded - James 4:8.      

With pure heart

          We need to draw near to God with a pure heart. Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water - Hebrews 10:22. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart - Psalm 24:3,4.         

With faith

             As we draw near to God with faith in time of need, we will receive His mercy and grace. Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need - Hebrews 4:16.  Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith - Hebrews 10:22. 

God is able to save

           God is able to save all those who draw near to Him. He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them - Hebrews 7:25. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth - Psalm 145:18. 

               But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works- Psalm 73:28. 

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you - James 4:7, 8.  

  

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us draw near to You with pure heart and faith for You to draw near to us. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
