Father If You Are Willing Take This Cup From Me Yet Not My Will But Yours Be Done

Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done - Luke 22:42.

Petition: If You Are Willing Take This Cup from Me

        Jesus asked the Father to remove the cup from Him if He is willing. Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me - Luke 22:42.

Submission: Not My Will but Yours 

        Jesus submitted to the will of the Father. Yet not my will, but yours be done - Luke 22:42.

Strength: Strengthened By An Angel

        As Jesus prayed more earnestly, an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. Jesus prayed more earnestly and An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground - Luke 22:43, 44.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us - 1 John 5:14.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, Let us ask everything in prayer according to Your will and submit us to Your will. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
