Do Not Revile In Return

          When reviled, we bless - 1 Corinthians 4:12. 

Blessed are us when others revile 

              We are blessed when others revile us. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you - Matthew 5:11,12. Blessed are you when men hate you, And when they exclude you, And revile you, and cast out your name as evil, For the Son of Man’s sake - Luke 6:22.

Bless your revilers

                Jesus did not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, He spoke blessing, rather than curse. Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do - Luke 23:34. Instead of reviling in return, He committed Himself to Him who judges righteously. When He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously - 1 Peter 2:23.

Obtain a blessing 

             We will obtain a blessing when we do not revile who revile us in return but on the contrary bless them as we are called for this. Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing - 1 Peter 3:9.
